Logistics

Getting Here
If you are flying, Bozeman, Montana is the easiest place to get in and out of. Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport, located 8 miles outside of Bozeman, is served by many major carriers. There are many car rental places that serve the airport.

If you are driving your own vehicle, Livingston is located directly off of Interstate 90.

Fishing Licenses
A Montana fishing license is required to fish our area rivers and lakes. You must purchase a conservation license and an invasive species pass. Licenses can be purchased online at the Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks Online Licensing Site.

What to Bring

Montana has all kinds of weather to offer, so it is best to be prepared for rain, snow, and sunshine! Bring your waders and/or a rain suit. It's always good to have them available. A pair of sunglasses are a must for eye protection. In the summer months, it may be 90 degrees of full sun all day. Don’t forget sunscreen!  It is also helpful to have a second rod – one rod set up for dry flies and one for nymph and streamers.  If you don’t have a rod or do not want to travel with them, no problem we can provide them.
